My family has been looking for the best authentic Thai food restaurant since we moved from California nearly three years ago and we finally found it. After a fun day at Lava Hot Springs pools we decided to stop here. We've driven by this restaurant so many times without stopping, but today we finally went inside.
We were greeted quickly by one of the owners. He led us to a table and when I said we'd be a party of six he swiftly moved another table over to accommodate us. He brought us waters and a pitcher of water to leave on the table which was nice since it was so hot outside we were quite thirsty.
After reading over the menu and decided he came over and took our orders. We asked for separate checks since we were two families eating there together.
We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer. For three dollars you are given three spring rolls and sauce. The rolls were very hot and fresh, and the sauce that came with the rolls was so delicious. The consistency of honey, sweet, and perfect with the crunchy spring rolls.
Then our meals came. My family ordered Pad Thai and the Steak Lao. The Pad Thai was divine, the best we've had since leaving California. A good sized portion with sweet saucy noodles, chicken, and peanuts in top. Just perfect, exactly what we've been craving. It could have been spicier, but considering I was sharing with my kids it was just right for the family, I'll ask for more heat when hubby and I return.
The steak lao was very tasty. It came with sticky rice and this amazing sauce. I put the rice down, then the sauce on it, and the steak on top and ate it all together and it was so good! That sauce was the real star, it pulled everything together.
My friend ordered the red curry and the soup with the lemon grass in it. Her daughter got the salad with the peanut dressing. My friend said that her soup and curry were both delicious and so much food that we had to take half of it home. I tried a bit of the peanut dressing and it was so full of flavor I wish I'd ordered a salad also.
When we were finished we went up to pay, which they had remembered to charge us separately. We felt like the food was authentic Thai and the prices were reasonable, and the quantity and quality of food was excellent! The service was quick and efficient as well. There is no doubt, we will be back! -

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. They make everything fresh so if it's busy there is a wait. But it's just a family running the restaurant so don't be a jerk if you have to wait a little. The owner is really nice and takes pride in the quality of the food. The sticky rice is the BEST I've ever had!

Me and my three other friends went to this restaurant. I must say this is the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been. The food was tasteless. The chicken smell bad. I felt that they might have serve us old chicken. We order 4 different item. None of them taste good. At last, we couldn't eat our food. However, we ended up paying 60$.

I am honestly shocked this place has an average three star rating. We knew going into this restaurant it probably wouldn't compare to other Thai food we've tried before but we were in the mood to eat something other than burgers and fries and it was close by to where we were camping. We ordered pad Thai and two veggie dishes. The pad Thai was the easiest to eat but not good. The other dishes we tried tasted like they came from cans, had watery and terribly flavored sauce and were severely undercooked. Would not recommend.

For an off season night, this place was crazy busy and seriously under staffed. We waited for a while for a table and ended up ordering to go because the one server couldn't keep up with bussing tables as people were leaving. The food was decent, but not the best we've ever had.
